LAKE COUNTY, Fla. — Homes near Presidio Drive and Lombard Circle will experience a temporary water-service interruption on Tuesday, Aug. 11, while city crews update equipment in the water system.
Officials said crews will work to minimize the disruption. Residents in the affected areas are encouraged to store several gallons of clean water for drinking, cooking and basic hygiene before service is shut off.
The city also advises residents not to run washing machines or dishwashers until water service is fully restored.
If water appears discolored or sputters after service returns, residents should run an outdoor spigot or a cold-water kitchen faucet for several minutes until the water flows clear.
