Land at busy Winter Park intersection sold to local developer

A subsidiary of a physician-led development group spearheading construction projects throughout Orlando recently bought land at a busy Winter Park intersection.

Verax Lakemont LLC, owned by Orlando-based Verax Investments, paid $2.75 million to Fifth Third Bank for an assemblage of properties at the northwest corner of Aloma and North Lakemont avenues.

The deal closed Feb. 7 for the 1.24-acre assemblage, which is less than a quarter-mile north of AdventHealth Winter Park.
