Landing mishap for military chopper in Pensacola; 2 aboard unhurt

PENSACOLA, Fla. — Two Navy officers were unhurt after their helicopter rolled on its side while landing in the Florida Panhandle.

The mishap happened Friday night at a Navy landing site in Pensacola.

The Pensacola News Journal reports a pilot instructor and a student were able to exit the helicopter safely and were brought to a hospital for evaluation.

The incident came two weeks after a military helicopter crashed in the Panhandle, killing all seven Marines and four soldiers aboard.
