Suspect charged after man found stabbed to death near UCF

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Residents in an Orange County neighborhood were shocked to find a man stabbed to death lying in their street on Wednesday.

The victim, 32-year-old Antonio Roan, was found in the road off Paine Lane, authorities sauid.

Authorities said the stabbing was the result of a dispute between two groups from Tuesday night.

"We know this dispute started last night, that this was some sort of spill over from a dispute that spilled over into today," said Jane Watrel of the Orange County Sheriff's Office. "These individuals were known to each other."

Police named Luis Aponte as a person of interest and charged him with second-degree murder just before 9 p.m. Wednesday.
