ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla.,None — A man known as one of the county's messiest neighbors has started a new mess.
Alan Davis spent time in prison because of the large amount of junk outside of his house on Alpine Street near Altamonte Springs.
When Davis was released from prison in 2009, the property was fairly clean. However, when WFTV stopped by his home on Thursday, it was a mess.
Code enforcement has opened up four more cases against him, WFTV found out.
Davi Andrews lives a few houses down.
"Every time we pass, it's like an eyesore," said Andrews.
Davis is being fined for the debris that litters his lawn and for the overgrown grass.
The most recent complaint to code enforcement was about an abandoned vehicle on the property.
WFTV saw more than three abandoned vehicles and a boat on Davis' property.
Authorities said the fines have accrued to $1.3 million.
What was not seen on Davis' property was a sculpture of a rear end that he built in protest to the county.
In 2009, Davis said he had plans to build another one.
"I'm going to make a six-foot-high ass sculpture and they can all kiss my ass," Davis said in 2009.
Code enforcement told WFTV all it can do is put a lien on the property if Davis does not pay the fines.
However, if the sheriff's office charges Davis with littering again, he could go back to prison.
"I'm not sure what's happening there, but it really has to clean up," said Andrews.
The sheriff's office said it has no pending charges against Davis.
