SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. — The Seminole County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man on charges of driving without a license, resisting arrest, and misusing 911 on Monday.
According to the arrest report, 70-year-old Alan Davis, also known as “ The Junk Man” was taken into custody by SCSO after running a stop sign near Raymond Avenue and North Street in Longwood.
According to the report, a deputy commenced a traffic stop and asked Davis for his license.
Davis proceeded to not provide his license and dialed 911, telling a dispatcher that he was being “carjacked by an armed officer who seems to be in liberation with the Seminole County Sheriff’s Department,” the report says.
According to the report, as the deputy attempted to remove Davis from the car and handcuff him, Davis tensed his arms and raised his left arm out of reach.
Davis was booked into the John E. Polk Correctional Facility and was later released on a $1,500 bond.
