ORLANDO, Fla. — A man's body was found in a lake Monday in Orlando, authorities said.
Investigators said the body was found by a passersby in Lawne Lake near Barnett Park on West Colonial Drive at about 11:36 a.m.
Fisherman Jackson Lagree said it’s the last place anyone would expect to find a dead body.
“It surprises me very much,” he said. “This is a recreation area. A lot of people out here, you know? A lot of people. I know they'll be surprised when they hear it on the news.”
The circumstances surrounding the death are unknown, but investigators said so far, they do not see any signs of foul play.
