3 hospitalized after Sunday night shooting in Marion County, deputies say

MARION COUNTY, Fla. — Deputies and detectives are investigating after three people were hurt during a Sunday night shooting in northern Marion County.

Deputies said they responded to a shooting at Northwest 145th Street and Highway 441.

Three people were taken to a local hospital to be treated for injuries, deputies said.

Northbound lanes of Highway 441 were temporarily closed while the investigation was underway.

Drivers were asked to avoid the area and to divert at Northwest 21st Court to go around the scene.

No other details were released by law enforcement officials.
