Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party returns this weekend

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. — The calendar, and the heat, says it’s still summer. But this weekend, Walt Disney World is getting a jumpstart on spooky season.

Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party officially kicks off Friday and runs select nights through Nov. 1.

The family-friendly, specially ticketed event comes with exclusive entertainment such as parades and nighttime spectaculars, pop-up parties, characters, photo ops and more.

New this year is the addition of Minnie Mouse, Daisy Duck and Clarabelle Cow dressed as the Sanderson Sisters from “Hocus Pocus” as part of the “Boo-To-You” Halloween Parade.

Returning this year is the Seven Dwarfs for event-exclusive photo opportunities, Disney said.

In addition to trick-or-treating throughout the park, a staple of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, there will also be exclusive fall-themed and Halloween-themed treats throughout the park.

The after-hours event runs from 7 p.m. to midnight, with the option to enter Magic Kingdom early. Each guets will also receive a reusable trick-or-treat bag and commemorative print, according to Disney.
