ST. CLOUD, Fla. — Firefighters battled a fully involved structure fire Monday in St. Cloud, sending one person to a regional trauma center for treatment.
St. Cloud Fire Rescue said crews responded to the fire in the 800 block of West New Nolte Road around 5:30 p.m.
One person was removed from the home and transported to a hospital.
Fire officials did not immediately provide additional information about the person’s condition.
The fire was substantially extinguished by 6:30 p.m., according to St. Cloud Fire Rescue.
Fire officials said no surrounding structures were in danger.
The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
Firefighters will work with the State Fire Marshal to inspect the property as part of the investigation.
