ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — One person was shot Thursday morning on Orlando’s west side, police said.
The call was reported around 10:30 a.m. on South Fanfair Avenue in the Malibu Groves neighborhood of Orlando.
Neighbors told Channel 9's Cuthbert Langley that they heard between eight and 15 gunshots Thursday morning.
The victim is said to be in stable condition at a nearby hospital, police said. No information on a shooter has been released.
We are working to find out more about the victim's condition and the search for a shooter.
A neighbor told Eyewitness News that the victim was a teenager.
"People (were) hollering and scrambling, hollering, 'Help the boy,'" said a neighbor, who didn't want to be identified.
