Deputies: Man, 78, carjacked, fatally shot outside Orange County CVS

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — A 78-year-old man was picking up his blood pressure medication from an Orange County CVS when police say he was carjacked and then fatally shot.

Deputies are still searching for the assailants who shot and killed father of four Uken Lloyd Cummings, 78, in the CVS parking lot along Silver Start Road in Pine Hills on Sunday around 3:25 p.m.

Detectives believe three assailants carjacked Cummings’ Mercedes, shot him and left him in the parking lot.

Several nearby businesses have surveillance cameras, and Cummings’ children are hoping that images from those camera will help investigators catch the people responsible for their father’s death.
