78-year-old man shot and killed in CVS parking lot, deputies say

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — The Orange County Sheriff’s Office is investigation a fatal shooting that happened Sunday afternoon.

Deputies said the shooting happened at 3:22 p.m. near the intersection of Silver Star Boulevard and North Powers Drive.

According to deputies, a 78-year-old man was shot in the parking lot of a CVS.

He was transported to the hospital where he died from his injuries.

Deputies have not released any information on a suspect or motive.
