Apopka man accused of attacking women at Walmart, filming up their skirts, police say

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Apopka police have filed new charges against a man they said pulled down an elderly woman's pants to record video of her.

Officers said Andrew Edwards, 23, victimized at least three other strangers before he was arrested last month.

Court documents show police fear Edwards is becoming more violent.

Edwards was arrested in January at a Dollar Tree for allegedly pulling a woman's pants down and filming her. He is now accused of victimizing other women, all at a Walmart.

Police said Edwards took a picture of a 48-year-old woman’s skirt on Dec. 28 while she looked at birthday cards. And on Jan. 5, a 31-year-old woman told police he filmed up her skirt while she bent down for something on a low shelf.

On Jan. 7, police said Edwards followed a 41-year-old woman to her car and as she began loading groceries into the trunk, he pushed her into her trunk, pulled down her pants, and snapped a picture.

When confronted with these alleged crimes, investigators said Edwards said he had a problem fulfilling his sexual desires and his actions made him "sick."

Edwards was on probation when he was arrested last month. He pleaded no contest last summer after he was accused of filming up a different woman’s skirt at another Walmart.
