Channel 9 presents Race and Reform in Central Florida town hall: How to watch

ORLANDO, Fla. — Channel 9 is hosting a town hall to discuss the impact of racial injustice in Central Florida.

The town hall, titled “Race and Reform in Central Florida,” will air on Channel 9 on Juneteenth, June 19, at 7 p.m.

Leaders from law enforcement, the business community, public sector, as well as nonprofit and religious communities will be at the table to discuss the hard work of reforming policies and engaging residents who are most impacted.

Channel 9 is partnering with the Orlando Economic Partnership for the town hall. The Partnership is focused on supporting workers, businesses, and industries by providing expertise and tools that builds our communities and grows an economy that works for everyone.

The Partnership is encouraging local business leaders to take a DEI pledge to show their support of diversity, equity and inclusion policies.

More than 150 companies across Central Florida have already signed up, including major companies like Walt Disney World, AdventHealth, Orlando Magic and Channel 9.
