Deputies ID man shot, killed in Orange County neighborhood

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Orange County deputies have identified a man who was shot and killed in a neighborhood.

On Sunday, deputies responded to a “man down” call at 1:39 a.m. in the Oak Ridge neighborhood.

The shooting happened near the intersection of Vagabond Lane and Rio Grande Avenue.

When deputies arrived, they found Moises Mejias, 61, had been shot. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
