Maitland attorney charged with murder, drug possession, records show

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — A woman with a law practice in Maitland is now facing a first-degree murder charge.

Investigators first arrested Raegan Yunger in November when they said they found methamphetamine in her office near Lake Maitland.

They arrested her again Wednesday, in connection to a fatal shooting at a motel months ago.

Deputies were called in November to the Sheraton Hotel on Lake Destiny Road.

Deputies haven’t identified the person killed in that shooting, but they believed it could be drug-related.

After an ongoing investigation, an arrest warrant was issued for Yunger, with officers arriving to her law office on Wednesday.

Records show police saw Yunger and another woman loading items into a car as police arrived to make an arrest.

Police said they searched the car where they found a loaded 9 mm firearm, methamphetamine, a pink scale and three pipes with methamphetamine residue.
