ORLANDO, Fla. — A man died Thursday after working on a Virgin Trains project in Orlando, officials said.
A spokesperson for Granite Construction said Marcus Green, 33, died after he and another worker were pulled into a pipe while working to clear standing water that had accumulated over an inlet due to recent heavy rains.
The workers were rescued by the Orlando Fire Department, and the second worker was treated at a local hospital and released.

The company said it will be conducting an investigation to determine what happened and why.
