Orange County deputies ask for community’s help to find out who shot, killed father of 2

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Orange County deputies are asking for the community’s help to solve a homicide that left two children without a father.

Investigators said Marlin Fryer was shot and killed along 18th Street, near South Parramore Avenue on Friday night.

His brother, Antonio Fryer, said neighbors told him Marlin, who was unarmed, got into an argument that turned into a shooting.

“Marlin wasn’t a person who was violent. He wasn’t a person who would go out and hurt or harm anybody,” Fryer said.

Orange County deputies said Thursday that they have no updates in the case. They have not released any information about a possible suspect in the case.

Marlin left behind a mother, three brothers and two children.
