ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Orange County’s seasonal outdoor watering restrictions take effect Sunday, Nov. 1, limiting lawn irrigation to one day a week through March 13, 2027, according to the county’s posted schedule.

Allowed watering days depend on the property’s address and use:

  • Odd-numbered homes or homes without a numbered address: Saturday.
  • Even-numbered homes: Sunday.
  • Nonresidential properties: Tuesday.

Water only as needed. Irrigation is prohibited from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., limited to one hour per zone, and capped at ¾ inch per zone on scheduled days by the St. Johns River Water Management District.

The restrictions apply to water drawn from private wells, lakes and ponds, as well as public or private utilities. Orange County’s Water Watch program lists reclaimed water as exempt.

In unincorporated Orange County, first-time violators receive a warning, with subsequent violations carrying a $25 fine each.

Residents who need help adjusting their sprinkler settings can schedule a free irrigation timer reset with a Water Watch technician by calling 407-254-9845.
