Orlando Science Center unveils canned food displays, fights hunger

ORLANDO, Fla. — A new exhibit is on display at the Orlando Science Center with an important message.

Teams of architects and engineers built 10 “Hungry to Learn” canned food displays Saturday.

Second Harvest of Central Florida and Construction Orlando collaborated to host ‘Ready, set, build!’

This annual event was designed to raise awareness and fight hunger, which has become more prevalent with inflation.

Canned goods used in the displays will be donated to Second Harvest to help support families in need.

The displays will be open to the public at the OSC until Oct. 2.
