Person taken to hospital after dry chemical spill at freight company in Orange County

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Firefighters in Orange County responded to a hazmat incident near The Florida Mall early Thursday.

Several fire rescue crews responded around 5 a.m. to the incident on La Quinta Drive.

Firefighters said around two gallons of a dry chemical was spilled at the location.

Officials said one person was treated by paramedics and taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center.
