Police: 19-year-old confesses to fatally shooting 18-year-old in Orlando

ORLANDO, Fla. — Orlando police said a 19-year-old man confessed to shooting and killing an 18-year-old on Sunday evening.

Officers said they found Jamarie Searcy, 18, dead from a gunshot wound on Judith Lane around 6 p.m.

On Tuesday, Seminole County deputies said they arrested Caleb Oliver, 19, who was a suspect in Searcy’s murder. When Orlando detectives questioned Oliver, they said he gave a full confession.
