Gregory Cohen, who has scleroderma, a rare autoimmune disease, said he hopes that participating in Sunday’s race will help him raise awareness about his condition and inspire others to not limit themselves.

"It helps me feel better every day, because it helps me reduce inflammation in my body, and it makes my joints feel a little bit better," he said. "At the end of the day, I emotionally feel better, too."

Warm, humid weather is expected Sunday. Click here to download the free WFTV news app to learn of any changes in the forecast.
