ORLANDO, Fla. — When it opens later this year, the new terminal at Orlando International Airport will highlight a combination of local and national businesses.
Brands like Barnie’s Coffee & Tea Co., Wine Bar George, and Orange County Brewers and Provisions by Cask & Larder are just a few of the many local businesses to be located in the new terminal when it opens in September.
Tracy Conner-Harris, assistant director of concessions said passengers will be able to choose from a variety of shopping and dining offerings unique to Orlando.
“With more than 80,000 square feet of concession space, we were able to bring concepts to life in a way that meets the diverse needs of passenger demand and continues our delivery of The Orlando Experience,” Conner-Harris said.
In addition to the many food options, passengers will also be able to partake in one of several themed shopping experiences from Walt Disney World, Universal Orlando and SeaWorld.
Airport officials said 93% of the concessions in Terminal C will be located beyond the security checkpoints, making it easier for people traveling in and out of OIA.
Terminal C will open to international operations beginning on Sept. 19 and domestic operations on Sept. 26.
