According to a news release, this is the eighth year that Soldiers’ Angels has given an average of 75 pounds of fruits, vegetables, meats and non-perishable foods to veteran and military families.

The nationwide initiative began in Sept. 2015.

The organization aims to fight against food insecurity veterans and their families may face in Central Florida.
