Osceola County prostitution operation busted, deputies say

OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. — Osceola County deputies said they have broken up a prostitution ring in Kissimmee and recently arrested a man who is accused of running the operation.

Some Osceola County residents in the Cumbrian Lake Community told Eyewitness News that they couldn’t believe a prostitution ring was busted in their neighborhood.

Osceola County deputies told Channel 9's Jeff Levkulich that undercover investigators went to the home in July and were greeted by Rebekeh Guttridge, Missikiquisha Kelly and Jada White, all 18-years-old.

The undercover officers said the women were scantily clad and to have sex for $100.

Investigators said they busted the women for alleged prostitution and confiscated their cellphones, which they said contained text messages from the accused pimp, Jimmy Meus, also known as “Smooth J.” The text messages detailed accounts of money earned from prostitution, expenses incurred and how much the women spent on marijuana, deputies said.

A deputy wrote in an affidavit that Meus provided the homes and hotels for the women to commit prostitution, provided the vehicles to transport the women and posted ads soliciting for sex.

"I never expect this thing happened in here. We never noticed something wrong,” neighbor Walter Gonzalez told Eyewitness News.

The women who were arrested in July said they had been prostituting the past year, deputies said.

The HOA alerted deputies to "unusual activity" at the home, deputies said.
