Osceola County to reveal back-to-school plan for returning students, teachers and faculty

Parents in Osceola County will soon find out about the school district's back-to-school plan.

School leaders spent Monday finalizing the plan that will be unveiled during a virtual school board meeting Tuesday evening.

The district will give parents a look at its plan and allow text messages and emails for public comment.

Many parents aren’t ready to send children back to school, but others said they are ready and want a plan.

Some concern for parents include how schools will handle communal supplies like crayons and markers and if there will be enough cleaning supplies for classrooms.

“I think that we as parents can continue to support our teachers in providing cleaning products in the classroom,” Lyzz Marjason said. “Even things like soap and paper towels.”
