LAKE COUNTY, Fla. — The south and northbound lanes of the Florida Turnpike, just past US-27 in Lake County have reopened Tuesday following a dump truck crash, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Troopers said the driver lost control in the northbound lanes, crashed through the center guardrail and overturned in the southbound lanes, shortly before 8 a.m.
Emergency crews shut down all lanes while they worked to clear a fuel spill.
The driver suffered minor injuries, troopers said.
It is unknown what caused the driver to lose control.
