Plenty of sunshine and dry conditions are ahead for Friday. A spotty sprinkle will be possible along the Brevard coast, with highs Friday in the low 80s.

We continue to track Weather On the Way for the weekend. A trough of low pressure will develop Saturday, increasing rain chances across the area. Temps for Saturday will be in the low 80s.

Lower rain chances are expected Sunday, but winds will begin to increase across the area. This will lead to high surf and beach erosion at the coast, with highs in the low 80s.

The winds will continue into the start of next week, with king tides increasing the coastal flood threat. Highs for Monday and Tuesday will be in the low 80s.

Conditions slowly improve by the middle of next week, with minimal rain chances and lower wind gusts.
