APOPKA, Fla. — Update 6:55 p.m.:
Apopka police have identified the man who was shot and killed on Tuesday in the parking lot of a Home Depot.
According to the Apopka Police Department, Michael Joshua Chak was taken to the hospital after the shooting, where he later died.
Detectives said the shooting stemmed from an isolated road rage encounter that began on West Orange Blossom Trail. Investigators said both parties drove into the Home Depot parking lot, where the confrontation escalated, and Chak was shot.
Police identified the other person involved as Kameron Deandre Berry.
Channel 9 is working to find out if any charges have been filed.

A man was hospitalized after being shot Tuesday morning at a Home Depot in Apopka, according to the Apopka Police Department.
Officers responded at approximately 10:22 a.m. to 1670 W. Orange Blossom Trail, the location of the Home Depot, following reports of a shooting.
Police said a male victim was transported to a hospital with a gunshot wound.
Detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting and said preliminary information indicates the incident may have started as a road rage encounter.
The suspect has been taken into custody, and police said there is no ongoing threat to the public.
Authorities have not released the identities of the individuals involved, citing the active and ongoing investigation.
