ORLANDO, Fla. — With Florida beginning phase one of Gov. Ron DeSantis’ plan to reopen the state, some things have reopened across the state.
If you’re wondering how to spend your weekend, here are nine things to do:
1. Go to the beach
Central Florida has several beautiful beaches that have reopened with some restrictions. Under DeSantis’ plan, beach access should be limited to parties of 10 or fewer than 6 feet of distance between groups.
2. Visit a state park
A limited number of state parks will be open for daytime use only. Visitors will not have access to certain amenities, such as pavilions, picnic areas and campsites due to sections of the park being closed or staff and visitor safety considerations.
