Ring in the holiday season with Christmas festivities at Walt Disney World Resort

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. — The holiday season is just beginning, and Walt Disney World Resort continues to spread joy.

If you’re looking for holiday festivities at Disney, here are the following events taking place at each park:

Magic Kingdom Park

For 24 nights, holiday cheer will return to Magic Kingdom with Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.

• Mickey Mouse and friends will perform at Cinderella Castle for Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration
• Night show with fireworks, castle projections and holiday songs at “Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks”
• Santa Claus at Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade
• Free cookies and hot cocoa throughout
• Some rides will get a holiday makeover, like the Jungle Cruise, Space Mountain, Tomorrowland Speedway, Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor and Mad Tea Party
• A Totally Tomorrowland Christmas performance at the Rocket Tower Plaza stage
• Three new holiday Disney PhotoPass opportunities this year
• Desserts like Sweet Potato Pie with marshmallow meringue and candied pecans and a Mickey-shaped cinnamon roll

Tickets are limited and can be purchased on the Walt Disney World website separate from park admission.

Here are the following dates for the event:

• November: 8, 10, 11, 14, 15, 17, 18, 20, 22, 27, 29
• December: 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 9, 11, 13, 15, 16, 18, 20, 22

Disney’s Animal Kingdom

Life-sized winter animals with musicians will interact with guests.

Once it turns dark, the Tree of Life will have a winter night show with holiday music.

EPCOT

Santa will be located at the Odyssey Pavilion.

Holiday performances around the World Showcase include Canadian Holiday Voyageurs, Las Posadas with Mariachi Cobre, the Chinese Lion Dance and holiday storytellers.

Enjoy a Holiday Cookie Stroll scavenger hunt and Holiday Kitchens inspired by dishes from around the world.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

The Hollywood Tower Hotel will transform into different winter and holiday scenes.

Santa Claus will make an appearance at the Merry Motorcade.

“For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration” will feature Olaf in a 3D musical film.

Disney Springs

There is a Disney Springs Christmas Tree Stroll scavenger hunt to find all the trees throughout and a surprise for those who find them all.

Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar transforms into a Holiday Bar with limited-time beverages and snacks inspired by the season, and there are new food options like Olaf Hot Cocoa Surprise.

Santa will be located at Once Upon a Toy for photos.
