Road work will close Tampa Avenue near Orange Center Blvd starting Aug. 31

The closure affects the section of Tampa Avenue from Orange Center Boulevard and Gore Street to Jacobs Place

ORLANDO, Fla. — Tampa Avenue, from Orange Center Boulevard and Gore Street to Jacobs Place, will be fully closed for road work beginning Monday, Aug. 31, at 7 a.m.

The closure will completely block traffic along the designated stretch of Tampa Avenue to allow crews to complete the scheduled road improvements.

Weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances could prolong or delay the construction timeline. Drivers in the area are urged to exercise caution for their safety and the safety of the work crews.
