DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — A Daytona Beach woman told Channel 9 that she has been unable to access her money since Monday due to a glitch on her Rush Card.
Elizabeth Karaim and her husband have their paycheck directly deposited onto her Rush Card.
The company said it is experiencing a system glitch and is working to solve the problem.

Karaim said she used her laptop for online classes at Daytona State College.
"I had to pawn my access to the Internet, my laptop and my tablet, in order to pay bills that had to be paid today, because normally when you work for a check you are going to get it like clockwork at the end of the pay period and that is not happening," said Karaim.
Karaim said she received an email Monday explaining that the system would be down for only four hours, but now she and thousands of people like her across the country have no idea when they will get their money.
"The cards are for people who are in a good financial situation. So, it does hurt us to not be able to access our payroll. We worked for our money, so, we have no access to it now, "said Karaim.
"This has put me into financial ruin," said Karaim.
Karaim said she has called the company multiple times, but has not received a response.
The company tweeted that it's processing system is coming back online and they are updating accounts.
Hip hop mogul Russell Simmons, who co-founded Rush Card, apologized to his customers via video.
"We know who you are and know you are facing tremendous challenges. I want to personally reassure you that your funds are safe and that we are addressing every issue as quickly as possible," Simmons said in the video.
