LAKE COUNTY, Fla. — A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for central Lake County until 4:30 p.m. Wednesday.
The warning includes Cassia and surrounding areas.
The storm was nearly stationary as of shortly after 4 p.m. The primary threats include wind gusts exceeding 50 mph, intense lightning and hail.
Additional strong to severe storms remain possible across parts of Central Florida through the evening.
