ORLANDO, Fla. — An unsettled weather pattern will continue across Central Florida on Tuesday, with widely scattered showers and thunderstorms expected throughout the day.
Some storms may move slowly and erratically, increasing the potential for locally heavy rainfall.
While most locations will not see significant flooding, repeated or slow-moving downpours could lead to pockets of nuisance flooding, particularly in areas that receive several rounds of rain.
Portions of Central Florida are under an elevated risk for excessive rainfall, meaning isolated instances of flooding are possible.
The weather will also remain warm and muggy, with afternoon temperatures climbing into the upper 80s and low 90s.
The combination of heat and humidity will make it feel warmer, especially during the afternoon.
Keep an eye on the sky on Tuesday and be prepared for rapidly changing conditions, particularly if you’re traveling or spending time outdoors.
Never drive through a flooded roadway, as it can be difficult to determine how deep the water is.
Additional showers and storms will remain possible through the afternoon and evening as the unsettled pattern continues.
