ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Police are searching for a man who robbed a bank in Winter Garden shortly before noon on Tuesday.
The robbery was reported at 11:30 a.m. at Regions Bank along West Colonial Drive.
Police said the robber entered the bank and handed the teller a note, demanding cash. The teller complied and the man fled in an unknown direction with an undisclosed amount of money.
No weapon was used in the robbery, police said.
The robber is described as a white man in his mid-40s with light-colored hair and a goatee. He stood about 5 feet 10 inches tall and had a medium build.
Police said he was wearing a dark-colored baseball cap, camouflage cargo shorts, flip flops and a khaki-colored shirt.
