ORLANDO, Fla. — Target is launching a new beauty department featuring more than 1,600 products from 90 prestige, emerging and international brands.
Target Beauty Studio will debut Sept. 10 in more than 600 stores nationwide and on Target.com.
More than two-thirds of the featured brands are new to Target, according to the retailer. The selection will include skincare, makeup, haircare, fragrances, bath and body products, nail care and beauty accessories.
Brands will include First Aid Beauty, Sunday Riley, Briogeo, Joico, Lake & Skye, Boy Smells, Bask and Tan-Luxe. The department will also feature Korean beauty brands such as Amuse, Kaja, Rom&nd and Purito Seoul.
The redesigned shopping experience will include dedicated Beauty Advisors who can offer product recommendations and guidance. Customers will also find product-testing opportunities, travel-sized items and rotating displays highlighting new and popular products.
“When guests shop for beauty, they want to pick up their standbys while also exploring what’s new and trending, and Target Beauty Studio is designed with that mix in mind,” said Amanda Nusz, Target’s senior vice president of merchandising, essentials and beauty.
Target Circle members will have access to exclusive offers and experiences.
Target will hold an in-store celebration from noon to 4 p.m. Sept. 26. The first 100 customers at most stores will receive an exclusive Target Circle bonus that can be used to shop Target Beauty Studio in stores or online. Select locations will also offer giveaways.
