Teen accused in Lake Brantley murder plot to be arraigned on child pornography charges

Authorities announced the new charge in June after investigators said they discovered child sexual abuse material on Valdez’s cellphone

ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. — One of the teens accused in an alleged murder plot at Lake Brantley High School is scheduled to appear before a judge on Tuesday on separate criminal charges.

Isabella Valdez, who was arrested in January in connection with the alleged plot, is set to be arraigned on child pornography charges.

Authorities announced the new charge in June after investigators said they discovered child sexual abuse material on Valdez’s cellphone while examining evidence related to the murder plot investigation.

Valdez remains in the Seminole County Jail.

The case involving the alleged plot at Lake Brantley High School remains ongoing.
