TITUSVILLE, Fla. — A 67-year-old man who struck a police officer with his car Saturday night is not expected to face charges.
Off-duty Titusville police officer Greg Shaw saw a car driven by Travis Potts hit a light pole, which knocked out power to area streetlights.
While Shaw was checking on the crash he was struck by a truck.
The driver of the truck told investigators he didn't see the officer because it was so dark in the area.
Shaw was not seriously injured in the accident.
