ORLANDO, Fla. — In a few hours, Orange County leaders will hold an important town hall at Carver Middle School.
It comes after a string of fights and a recent shooting near the campus.
The meeting was organized by School Board member Vicki Felder.
What was first described by Orlando police as a brawl two weeks ago involving 50 to 100 children turned out to be a crowd of students running for their lives when shots were fired by a student from a nearby private school.
The event kicks off at 6:30 p.m. Channel 9 will have a crew there listening to the details.
