GAINESVILLE, Fla.,None — University of Florida police are in the process of investigating hazing at a fraternity.
Gainesville police say members with the Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity repeatedly struck and paddled pledges as part of an initiation ritual.
Nine of the suspects are UF students, and another is an alumnus.
University officials say students are typically issued a temporary suspension in these cases.
No arrests have been made.
