NEW SMYRNA BEACH, Fla. — Visitors will have to pay to park in New Smyrna Beach starting in October.
It will cost $10 to park in several beachfront parking lots from 27th Avenue to North Beach Community Park near the inlet.
Police will enforce parking every day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Residents can get free parking passes, but they will have to apply for parking decals at the New Smyrna Beach Finance Department on Sams Avenue.
