WATCH LIVE: Sheriff addresses antisemitic messages found at Volusia County homes

Volusia County leaders are set to address antisemitic messages like these left at people’s homes.

Antisemitic material has shown up in neighborhoods in the county over the past few months.

Law enforcement is now doubling down on their effort to respond.

Volusia County Sheriff Mike Chitwood is planning to hold a news conference at 1 p.m. on Monday to address the concerns.

Chitwood is expected discuss how his office will deal with recent situations involving messages of hate.

Just last week there were demonstrations throughout Volusia County during the Daytona 500.

Fliers were found in Ormond Beach, Daytona Beach and other parts of the county.

The latest act of antisemitism happened in Orlando’s Laureatte Park neighborhood.
