Daytona Tortugas hosting final Bob Ross bobblehead night of the season

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — Want a Bob Ross bobblehead? The Daytona Tortugas are offering you one last chance this season.

The first 1,000 people in attendance at the team’s game on Saturday, Sept. 10, will get a bobblehead of the famed TV painter.

Ross spent years of his life traveling back and forth between the New Smyrna Beach area and Orlando.

That same night, the Tortugas will organize a pregame painting class for $100. As part of the deal, fans will get a painting class with a Bob Ross-certified instructor, a general admission ticket, a Bob Ross bobblehead, and two drink vouchers.

There are limited tickets available. You can call 386-257-3172 to book tickets.

Sept. 10 is also Bark in the Park Night. Fans can purchase a “Pooch Pass” for $2 at the gate.

The game starts at 7:05 p.m.
