Port Orange restaurant temporarily closes, will test staff after employee confirms having COVID-19

PORT ORANGE, Fla. — A popular Port Orange restaurant plans to test its staff after an employee tested positive for the coronavirus.

Aunt Catfish’s on the River announced it would be closed until Friday to ensure the safety of its staff and customers while tests were conducted.

The restaurant plans to reopen Friday with all employees that test negative for the virus.

There were no other employees that reported feeling any symptoms, according to the restaurant’s Facebook.
