Shots fired during fight in hot tub, motorcycle gang members arrested, police say

NEW SMYRNA BEACH, Fla. — New Smyrna Beach police arrest three members of a motorcycle gang after a fight breaks out in a hot tub.

According to police, the fight happened at the Islander Beach Resort on S. Atlantic Avenue around 10 p.m. on Monday.

Police said several adults were arguing when a physical altercation broke out, and one of the males involved fired a handgun into the air.

The shooter and others involved left the scene before police arrived.

The victim was treated for minor injuries.

On Tuesday, police arrested three members of the Outlaw Motorcycle Club and one of their female associates.

Stacy Tongue, 45, of Illinois was charged with battery, Mark Tongue, 56, of Wisconsin was charged with felony battery, Samuel Stumpf, 47, of Iowa was charged with battery, carrying a concealed firearm and aggravated assault and Ken Foerster, 60, of Illinois was charged with battery.

Each suspect was transported to the Volusia County Branch Jail for booking.
