WATCH: Police: Man wearing devil mask tackled while walking into Florida strip club with loaded gun

TAMPA, Fla. — Police in Tampa said surveillance video shows the moments a security guard stopped a masked man when he tried to enter a strip club with a loaded gun.

Officials said Michael Rudman was wearing a red and black devil mask when he tried to go into Mons Venus strip club Sunday morning.

Police said he also had the words “kill” and “dark one” written on his arms.

As he tried to go into the club a security guard fought with him and knocked the gun away, before the man was taken down.

“I saw him pointing it towards the door. And I decided that he was not going to enter the club and hurt anybody,” said security guard Manny Resto.

Police said a single round was fired from the gun during the fight, hitting the front door, but no one inside was hurt.

Police said they are still working to determine a motive.
