WATCH: Seminole County first responders dive into pond to save man, dogs from sinking SUV

SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. — Officials in Seminole County are set to honor the three paramedics and two Longwood police officers involved in a water rescue.

Video shows the first responders jumping into a retention pond to save a man and his dogs after a crash.

The rescue last Tuesday along State Road 434 and Rangeline Road.

Officers arrived on the scene less than two minutes after the first 911 call and didn’t hesitate to jump into action.

“I feel that we were there to do our jobs, and because of people like us, people get to live another day and enjoy the rest of their life,” said Longwood Police Officer Bryce Snyder.

The man who was saved is expected to be okay.
